Works
Consulted and
Works Cited
Works Cited and Works Consulted are not the same. In Works Cited you
only list items you have actually cited. In a Works Consulted you list
all of the material you have consulted in preparing your essay whether
or not you have actually cited the work. Your teacher will tell you whether
you need to do a Works Consulted or Works Cited document.
CPJH
uses MLA format for Works Consulted and Works Cited. Examples of print,
non-print and parenthetical (internal) citations for research
sources
are
linked
below. The examples are labeled Works Cited but are the same for both
Works Consulted and Works Cited.
