1. Head
Contains prism to change light path. Spins to allow Eyepiece to face the sample, or away for storage.
2. Zoom
Spin to change magnification
3. Objectives
Two Objectives 2x and 4x are within the Zoom mechanism
4. Sub Stage Light
Provides light beneath the stage for backlighting
5. Stage
Holds sample or sample dish
6. Base
Provides solid foundation, dampens vibration
7. 3 Way Light Switch
Delivers sub stage lighting, spot lighting, or both to sample
8. Arm
Holds stereo mechanism in place used for moving scope
9. Focus
Moves head up and down to focus the light on the sample
10. Spot light
Provides top light on sample.
11. Eyepiece or Ocular
Magnifies incoming light 10x
Zoom Magnification
varies from 20x to 40x
