Fitness Plan Proposal

 

                        You are going to write a proposal for your fitness plan. The plan is for you to execute throughout the semester, but can be extended indefinitely depending upon your personal needs.

 

 

Format

 

 

 

Guidelines for completing the WHAT and WHY sections:

1.      Label each section (WHAT), (WHY) and respond with short, clear answers to each bullet.

 

WHAT:                    Personal Fitness Plan

 

 

WHY:                                                

·             Why is it important to have a fitness plan?

·             Why did you choose the goals you did; how are they important in your life?

·             Will everything you learn be new information or will you be expanding on previously learned information or skills? 

 

 

Guidelines for completing the HOW section:

  1.  Label the section HOW

  2.  Information can be written in list format under each sub-section.

  3.  Subtitle each sub-section appropriately. (resources, timeline, project needs, challenges)

 

 

HOW:

·              Identify necessary resources:

What experts in the field, print resources, and/or online sources might help you develop your plan?

 

·             Sequence the steps:

Develop a timeline for your plan from start to finish including checkpoints and deadlines to enable you to achieve your stated goals above.

                        Anticipate and identify other major project needs; i.e. facilities, finances, equipment, etc.

 

·             Consider obstacles and/or challenges:

                        What are they and how will they be handled?
